Estee Lauder Favorites

Estee Lauder has everyone and their mother all excited about The Estee Edit, their new line at Sephora. It caters to the younger beauty obsessed consumer, rather than the older clientele the company has built itself on. The first guest editors for the brand are Kendall Jenner and Irene Kim, who both have enviable beauty looks. While I haven’t yet picked anything up from the Estee Edit yet, I do have some favorites from the main brand. These are actually all things I poached from my mother’s vanity, since she has a habit of buying makeup and then not using them. I think they’ve found a better home in my collection since I’ve used and loved all these products. Keep reading to see all my favorites!

Estee Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover • $20

This is currently my favorite eye makeup remover. I usually find eye makeup removers either too oily or too harsh, but this one sweeps my makeup off with very little residue and no stinging on my eyes. With just a few sweeps of a cotton ball, it takes off my waterproof mascara and eyeliner pretty well and I can go right into the rest of my skincare routine without having to wipe off any oiliness. I definitely have sensitive eyes and this one hasn’t caused any issues.

Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme • $75

You may be wondering why I, a 21 year old who looks like she’s 12, need anti-aging cream. It’s because I haven’t really taken good care of my skin until recently and there are definitely signs of aging all over, even if my skin looks firm and bright from a distance. I’ve been feeling like my skin has been prone to small wrinkles and dullness for a while now, and this cream has helped make my face look more alive during the weeks that I remember to consistently use it. It’s thick enough you can really feel it soaking into and moisturizing your skin, but not heavy enough to be pore-clogging. I’ve already hit pan on my jar that I got in November so I’m definitely thinking about refilling with another one soon.

Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone Night Age Reversing Line/Wrinkle Creme • $75

This is my nighttime version of the daytime cream above. I’m very determined to have youthful looking skin that matches my youthful appearance - have you ever seen a wrinkly 12 year old who wasn’t Benjamin Button? This feels so nice to apply before going to bed and isn’t like a mask that could potentially leave residue on your pillows. It’s lightweight enough that your skin can breathe but still manages to make your skin feel really refreshed when you wake up. I’ve been having really bad insomnia, so I’m glad that at least my skin is well rested.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II • $92

I only have a sample size of this and save it for the days my skin is feeling extra meh, but on those days it really helps bring life back into my skin. I don’t really apply the serum all over my face but I save it for spots where my skin is driest or looks dull or weirdly pigmented and then I apply my moisturizer over it. It’s really feels like it adds something extra to my moisturizing routine and it also soothes my skin. I have very tired looking eyes constantly so I tend to use this on the bags under my eyes as well - my eye bags are still there but they’re smoother and less prominent after consistently using this plus eye cream.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara in Extreme Black • $27.50

I go through a lot of mascaras in my quest to make my stubby lashes look like they exist and I only like a handful of all the ones I’ve tried. I liked this one immediately - it’s a very wet formula at first so it coats all my lashes thickly and evenly but it doesn’t get clumpy when it dries. I like how long and voluminous my lashes look after using this mascara. This particular one makes my lashes so pretty that it’s my current go-to mascara for the lazy days where I don’t do anything with my eyes except curling my lashes and applying some mascara.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Bois de Rose • $26

This is a really pretty and subtle color to wear on days where I just want to brighten up my lips rather than making them look super intense. I have pretty pigmented lips so this is an almost sheer shade that mixes well with my natural coloring. The creamy formula feels really nice on my lips so it’s a nice lipstick to grab on days where I don’t want to feel like I’m wearing makeup. It’s definitely not transfer proof but it does last pretty well so long as I’m not eating too much. I like how it doesn’t settle into the lines of my lips so they don’t look as dry as they are. It also feels moisturizing so I don’t have to load on too much lip balm.

That’s it for all my current favorites! I have a few more things that I love but I didn’t feel the need to share them since they’re all limited edition holiday items that you can’t buy anymore. Let me know in the comments if you have any Estee Lauder or The Estee Edit faves that you think I should try out! Thanks for reading this post!
