My boyfriend is probably going to hate me for this post, but it’s time I came clean. I’m obsessed with furry bag charms. They’re the fluffiest accessory you can add to your look without an overabundance of fur weighing you down and making you look like Cookie from Empire. These tiny bundles of fluff are also pretty useless and so my best friend ridicules me for liking them so much. Even though he got me my very own super cute and affordable fluffy bag charm from Primark for $3.50, designer bag charms can be priced pretty ridiculously. Keep reading for some of my favorite furry bag charms and how you can style them.
I first saw the Fendi Monster Fur Charms hanging off of Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s handbags and became obsessed immediately. I thought they were so cute and an unexpected way to make an outfit pop. Wear a leather jacket and black everything and add this to your clutch for an edgy going out look.
This is a more affordable bag charm that also has the DVF logo for a touch of class. Add this to your workday tote bag and it’ll liven up your workday look. Sensible pumps? Check. Wrap dress? Check. Bag charm? Check.
Dolce & Gabbana Cherry Rabbit Fur Bag Charm $275 x
With two bundles of fur, this charm is like double the fun (plus it’s on sale)! Dolce & Gabbana has a few fruity bag charms but this one is my favorite. Hang this off your plain daytime crossbody bag for an instant outfit upgrade.
Karl Lagerfeld Panda Glasses Lapin Fur Bag Charm $215 x
This bag charm is a way to express both your love for Karl Lagerfeld and for panda bears. I love the sunglasses on the little bear. It would be so cute to wear this on your bag while wearing your own pair of Lagerfeld wayfarers.
This bag charm is another affordable option and looks exactly like the one I have. I wear mine on my light pink Kate Spade Cedar Street Monday bag and love how the color adds more of a fall vibe to the pastel colored bag.
I’m in love with the electric blue/purple color of this MCM bag charm and the robotic bunny on top. Definitely something I would pop onto a basic leather pouch or clutch to elevate my look and add a fun bit of color to my outfit.
This is what I showed my best friend when confessing my love for fluffy bag charms and he promptly thought I had gone crazy. Yes, its costs so much just for a tiny ball of fur but I just die for cute little accessories like these.
